What we collect

• The free Basic dashboard requires no account and no personal data.
• Plus/Pro accounts: the email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) you sign up with, and, if you set them, your custom latitude/longitude.
• Billing: payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we keep only a Stripe customer/subscription ID and subscription status.
• A session cookie that keeps you logged in. It contains a random token, not your password or personal data.

How we use it

Solely to operate your account: authenticate you, apply the correct subscription tier, fetch weather/fire/aircraft data for your chosen location, and manage billing through Stripe. We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond Stripe (payment processing) and the public data APIs described in our Terms of Service, none of which receive your account information — location queries to those APIs are anonymous.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. Aircraft flight trails are stored only in your browser's local storage, never on our servers, and are pruned automatically after 6 hours.
